'The crystal represents the paradise of the stone ... Likewise, there are various stages in the paradise (perfection) for the crystal itself ..... So long as it was stone it was worthless, but if it attaineth the excellence of ruby - a potentiality which is latent in it - how much a carat will it be worth? Consider likewise every created thing.' Bahai Sacred Writings
I am a sculptor working in copper and silver, and enjoy doing larger than life size work, as well as beautiful jewelry.
The continent of Africa is rich in its abundant sources of gems, semi-precious stones and precious metals and inspires me to share this beauty, originaly buried away from sight, with women the world over. The metaphor for precious and semi-precious stones relate to the hidden treasures residing within each woman, no matter who she is or where she finds herself. Wearing these stones is likened to "mining" the wonderful attributes we have within, simply waiting to be expressed!
It is my hope that you too may discover your unique gems of heavenly treasures within, so you can mirror the Self you are meant to be and bring your precious light to this world.
